Our mission is to reduce the guesswork of buying new products by bringing transparency, shared knowledge, and local availability into one place.

The team

VABA was started by Evelina and Oleksii - two former colleagues who teamed up to build a mobile app for plant-based, gluten-free, and conscious grocery shoppers in Estonia.

We’re a small team with a background in product, research, and development, currently building VABA from the ground up in a team of two:

Evelina is a product expert with over 5 years experience ranging from a SaaS and marketplace products, previously working at companies like Pipedrive and Yaga. She’s passionate about building useful, customer-first products, and loves cooking in her free time
Oleksii is a full-stack engineer with over 10 years of experience, having built products at Pipedrive, Beast, and Omniva. He’s great at turning messy ideas into clean, functioning software - across backend, frontend, and mobile
